WHAT: Annual Open House for Fire Prevention

WHERE: Buchanan Engine Co. - 3159 Albany Post Rd.

WHEN: Sunday, October 1 from 1:00 - 4:00pm

Once again, the officers & members of the Buchanan Engine Co. will be holding their annual open house for fire prevention.

There will be several demonstrations throughout the day. Among them are extrication, CPR, stove/oven fire, smoke house & roof operations demonstrations. Aside from the Buchanan FD, Cortlandt EMS, Montrose VAFD & Buchanan PD will also be on hand with thier own activities.

The New York State Office of Fire Prevention & Control (NYS-OFPC) will also be there with their fire prevention trailer for a great demonstration.

There will also be many raffles & prizes that will include smoke detector & fire extinguishers give-a-ways.

Toward the end of the day, children and adults alike, will have the opportunity to go for a ride on a fire truck (E160).
