Initial Summary:   

Assistant Fire Chief Miller died of injuries sustained when while operating a tanker and enroute to a fire call in a neighboring community, the apparatus left the roadway and rolled ejecting Miller.

Preliminary reports indicate that no seat belt was being worn.
