Play movies and sounds continuously throughout the whole slide show

You may want the sound or movie to play for the duration of the slide show or to keep playing until you stop it. If the length of the sound or movie file isn't long enough for continuous play during a slide show, you can set the sound or movie to loop.

Insert the sound or movie if you have not already done so.

Display the slide to which you want to add a movie or sound effects.

On the Insert menu, point to Movies and Sounds, and then do one of the following:

Insert a sound from a file

Click Sound from File, locate the folder that contains the file, and then double-click the file that you want.

Insert a sound from the Clip Organizer

Click Sound from Clip Organizer, scroll to find the clip that you want in the Clip Art task pane, and click it to add it to the slide.

Insert a movie from the Clip Organizer

Click Movie from Clip Organizer, scroll to find the clip that you want in the Clip Art task pane, and click it to add it to the slide.

Notes

Clip Organizer initially includes a collection of animated GIFs (GIF: A graphics file format (.gif extension in Windows) used to display indexed-color graphics on the World Wide Web. It supports up to 256 colors and uses lossless compression, meaning that no image data is lost when the file is compressed.). Though not technically movies, animated GIFs contain multiple images that stream to create an animation effect. They are often used to accent a design or Web site. Other GIF files and movie files that you add to Clip Organizer will also appear in the task pane.

To preview a clip In the Clip Art task pane, in the Results box that displays the available clips, move your mouse pointer over the clip's thumbnail, click the arrow that appears, and then click Preview/Properties.

Insert a movie from a file

Click Movie from File, locate the folder that contains the file that you want, and then double-click the file.

When a message is displayed, do one of the following:

To play the movie or sound automatically when you go to the slide, click Automatically.

To play the sound or movie only when you click the sound icon or movie frame, click When Clicked.

Find more information about playing sounds or movies Automatically or playing When Clicked.

Right-click the sound icon or movie frame, and on the shortcut menu, click Edit Sound Object or Edit Movie Object.

In the Sound Options or Movie Options dialog box, select the Loop until stopped check box to repeat the sound or movie continuously.

Unless you're actually doing a presentation with alot of graphics (non-photo) and alot of text, there are better programs for this. Windows movie maker allows you to add music and adjust the slides to where the music starts/stops/transitions. It also allows for titles, credit and text slides to be inserted. I think it is a cheap download or comes with many camera software packages.
