Description Of Incident: Storage cabinet containing nitrocellulose which decomposed causing an explosion and small fire. Other chemicals involved included various forms of acetate, muriatic acid, and paints and solvents. FD made initial knockdown and primary search then evacuated. Haz mat and Health Dept. made entry, mitigated leaking products and extinguished smoldering fire.

All units except health and NYDEC cleared by 1200hrs.
