VALENCIA, CA - At 6:40 this morning units from the Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to a traffic collision on the southbound lanes of the I-5 Golden State Freeway and State Route 126. The first fire companies on scene reported seven patients, four of whom were ejected - with one dead on the scene. There were three critical patients, one was taken to Henry Mayo Medical Center in Valencia and the other two were flown by air ambulance to a trauma center. The remaining two received mild to moderate injuries and were taken to local hospitals via ground ambulance.
