Description Of Incident: Original calls for an EDP female out of control, attempting to jump in front of a train. MTA PD requested MTA ESU, but they would be responding from Manhatten. YPD ESU requested as female ran from the platform eluding officers down towards the city pier. ESU-4 & 3, observed the women and upon seeing the police she jumped over a railing and threatened to jump into the Hudson River. After a few moments and seeing that the female was under the influence of PCP, ESU officers grabbed the women and after a brief struggle, placed her into custody. The EDP was transported to St. Josephs E.R. (Psychiatric unit) for treatment. No injuries to any officers.
