LANCASTER, CA - In the late evening hours of July 21st, companies from the Los Angeles County Fire Department serving the City of Lancaster were dispatched to a report of an outdoor fire. Engine 117 and Squad 33 arrived simultaneously to find an 100-foot long pile of hay and a portion of a trailer on fire. Crews used hand lines to control the blaze and were able to knock the fire down in about 20 minutes.
