Flooding, fallen trees and downed power lines from last night's storm continued blocking numerous streets this afternoon, mostly in central and southern Westchester County.

A look at some of the problems, community by community as of 1 p.m.

Greenburgh: Downed power lines across Central Park Avenue caused police to close the roadway from Four Corners in Hartsdale to Underhill Road in Scarsdale. Not scheduled to reopen until 2 a.m.tomorrow.

Somers: Route 35 at Mahopac Avenue is closed in both directions due to downed wires and a utility pole.

Harrison/White Plains: Westchester Avenue was blocked in several areas to traffic due to down trees for much of the morning, traffic was flowing as of 11:30 a.m.

White Plains: Numerous streets were reported closed.

Yonkers: Numerous trees and wires were reported down. Police reported two cars stuck in water on Warburton and Nepperhan avenues. In both cases, the motorists were removed from their cars without injury. Power outages reported throughout the city.

Hastings-on-Hudson: Police reported lots of wires down and power outages. The main road closing was Broadway between Main Street and Warburton Avenue. A downed tree caused the closing and the power outage to Hastings customers, police said. Con Ed has been working on the problem since 5 a.m., police said.

Mamaroneck town: Fenimore Road has reopened southbound.

Rye Brook: Police reported Lincoln Avenue closed between Westchester Avenue and Westerleigh Circle.

New Rochelle: Police reported a number of wires down and many power outages.

Port Chester: Police said there were extensive power outages. There were many trees down and some street closing but no main roads.

Bronxville: Residents on Parkway Road are without power. Paxton Avenue in the village has reopened and power was being restored.

Harrison: Polly Park Road and Kenilworth Road were closed. Pleasant Ridge Road reopened at 10:30 a.m. Exits onto North Street from both directions of the Hutch were reopened by 11 a.m. The Pleasant Ridge area was particularly hard hit and there were also numerous other road closings and power outages, police said.
