Description Of Incident: MVA w/Pin & Extrication

1556hrs-Car 2341 o/s advising extrication in progress, requesting Stat-Flight.

1558hrs-E133 dispatched to the Riverfront Green Park (Hudson Ave.) for an LZ. 60-Control advising Stat-Flight has been dispatched w/a 6-8 minute ETA. Car 2341 advising Car 2349 will be the ground contact on 46.140.

1601hrs-Car 2341 10-19. Car 2343 advising (1) victim has been extricated from the vehicle.

1604hrs-Car 2343 requesting ETA on Stat-Flight. 60-Control advising that they are in the air, but facing a head-wind & giving an ETA of 6 minutes.

1605hrs-60-Control requesting patient update for Stat-Flight.

1606hrs-Car 2343 requesting Stat-Flight to expedite if at all possible, patient is "critical."

1607hrs-7511 (EMS Capt.) advising 1st patient out of vehicle w/head trauma & being intubated, 2nd patient has just been removed and appears to have serious head trauma as well and is being intubated. 7511 advising (1) patient will be going by ground ALS to WMC, 2nd will go by air.

1612hrs(approx.)-Cortlandt EMS placed on s/b to cover the City of Peekskill.

1614hrs-Car 2349 advising that AIR-1 is overhead.

1617hrs-As per ground-units, AIR-1 is on the ground.

1620hrs-7511 advising that 7513 and himself are available from the scene if needed for additional calls. Cortlandt EMS w/call in their district, 7511 advising 60-Control that Cortlandt EMS can be released from s/b to handle their call.

1622hrs-Car 2345 (S/O) advising all units that Metro-North is operating under normal rail-road conditions. (The Riverfront Green park is situated between the Metro-North Railroad tracks and the Hudson River).
