Two motorists, one from the Bronx and another from New Jersey, were arrested on county parkways early today in separate incidents.

Blake Quiros-Smith, 20, of the Bronx, was stopped at 2:05 a.m. on the Saw Mill River Parkway — near McLean Avenue in Yonkers — traveling south at 108 mph, county police said.

Officer Robert Kelly charged Quiros-Smith with speeding and reckless driving, both misdemeanors.

He was also charged with driving while ability impaired from drugs, another misdemeanor. That charge was leveled because the motorist was smoking marijuana, police said.

County police said Quiros-Smith had three passengers in the Toyota SUV — two adults and one 15-year-old boy.

He was additionally charged with endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor, for speeding with the boy in the car, police said. The SUV was impounded.

In the second incident, at 12:50 a.m. on the Hutchinson River Parkway in Harrison, Christopher M. Schamber, 23, of East Rutherford, N. J. was arrested for two counts of driving while intoxicated.

Police Officer James Green stopped Schamber because his car had a loud exhaust system. Police said the motorist appeared intoxicated and he failed a sobriety test.

Just to add to this article a few points not included. The incident on the Saw Mill was related to drag racing. These skells would stop traffic on the Saw Mill at Mclean Ave, to line up thier POS Civics to race up the highway. Early Sunday morning, WCPD and YPD stopped multiple cars at Yonkers Ave and Palmer Rd. There was a job on the Sprain last year where these tools stopped traffic on the Sprain at Tuckahoe Road to line up a race and causing a horrific wreck. As usual, the jerks racing weren't injured, but the poor family in the car that plowed into them went to WCMC.
