Description Of Incident:One car MVA into a utility pole with a front seat passenger with serious facial trauma and a possible skull fracture and a rear passenger with a possible serious skull fracture. Rear passenger extricated from vehicle by ESU and FD. Driver of vehicle fled the scene. Both victims treated and transported to WCMC by Empress paramedics in serious condition. ESU remained on scene, assisting accident investigators with crime scene lighting and CIU with evidence recovery. ESU also canvassed area with thermal imaging camera for the driver.
