Mothers Power Ball / Power Ball Mini

Saw mention of Mother Power Ball before on the board - and a nice glossy ad in Popular Mechanics.

Just wondering what experiences people have had with these on apparatus.

Is it worth it? Does it work? Or is it yet another gimmick?

It's really good, but you should use it with a cordless (battery operated) drill. I made the mistake of using it on an electric drill, which is more powerful torque-wise, and I ended up skipping the ball around on my rims. Once I got used to how to slow down my drill, the power ball worked really well. Use it with Mother's Aluminum and Mag Wheel polish and your rims will shine for a few months.

We used many of them during our inspection this past month and they worked great..We used them on all of our diamond plate along with blue magic metal polish.. the combo of them worked awsome...
