Are they going to get there parade in? Is the 2006 parde season cursed? First Montrose, then us in Pleasantville now they are calling for rain on Wed. Good luck hope you get the same window I did and WE WILL be there!

The parade is tonight I am sure it will go as planned, it sucks when you plan events like this and it rains oh well what are you going to do.

as per katonah "base", they just toned out and stated that the parade is still on

We did get verry lucky... not a drop of rain but not a great turnout. Alot of the departments didnt show or they didnt bring the whole department for some reason or another. unfortunatly a little boy got hit by a car right next to the parade route. katonah fire department, and Katonah- Bedford VAC reponded extreamly quickly. I think he just got off with a broken arm and some bruises.

Over all it was a great and dry parade and all of the departments did great

Yes a great Parade and no rain we had 25 member in the line of march, we saw the little boy get hit it happened right in front of us and we ran over and provided care till the vac got on the scene.

Best Ladder and Best Non Reg - Pleasantville

Best over all - Brewster

2nd Best over all - Golden's Bridge

Best Engine- Bedford Village

Darien Con won a bunch

Fun was had by all who attended

Golden's Bridge also took home Best Rescue

It was quite amazing that the rain stopped and never started up again. I was surprised to see as many spectators as there was. I am sorry to hear about the boy getting hit. Hoping he recovers quickly.
