Just thought I would post something here, FDNY-EMS will actually put you on a list if you are emt certified and you will be called without taking an exam. I was suppose to go in july 7 but instead due to mishapes with paperwork I will be entering in Jan class. You will still have to take an agility and medical but better then taking an exam. I have gone through both processes so if you have any questions feel free to ask. I am planning on taking the ems job until i get called for Fire. It's at least a start.

The test for FDNY EMT and Paramedic is an E&E test. It's not a sit down and write test...

The list 2077 (EMT) should to established in 3 to 4 weeks.

there is a test for FDNY EMT. it will be given june next year i think. it is a civil service test. FDNY will hire you with out taking the test but you will be only provisional. if you want civil service staus make sure you take the test.

The test is a E&E Test & you will get Civil Service staus with the E&E test.

(LIST 2077 is a Civil Service List)
