Montrose VA Basic Ops Question

Can someone tell me how the Montrose VA Dept works/ functions? I am a little bit in the dark to the whole operation and even as to where they serve. IE are they a private fd/ municpal / career/ volunteer ect...

They cover the Hudson Valley Veterans Affairs-FDR Campus located in Montrose. It is a career Federal dept. One Engine, HazMat, Ambulance, and Mini-attack.

I'm sure others will fill in the rest.
