Palisades Interstate Parkway PD

Hey everyone,

I was wondering if anyone had any information about the Palisades Parkway Police - I know they honor the NJ Civil Service Exam, but I was wondering if they were a bi-state agency since the parkway crosses the NJ/NY border. I can't really find any information about them since their website is under construction. Can anyone help me out?

I do not believe that they have police power in NYS. NYSP cover the NY section of the PIP and I believe NYS Park Police cover the parks that the PIPC operates for NYS OPRHP.

That is correct. NYSP Troop "F" Haverstraw covers the PIP in NYS.

NYS Park Police cover the palisades Parkway from the NJ line up into Highlands at the Bear Mountain Brige and Route 6 that runs through the state park.
