Description Of Incident: 6 year old boy spilled a drink in the living room and ran into the kitchen to get a towl, where he then ran into his mother, who was transfering a boiling pot of water off the stove, causing the pot of water to spill on the 6 year old boy. The child victim received 2nd and 3rd degree burns to his face, forehead, neck and shoulder area, with immediate skin loss. ESU & Empress paramedics treated the child on scene, who was concious and alert and transported to Jacobi Medical Center for further treatment. The incident was declared accidental.
