Description Of Incident: Vehicle pursuit of a stolen car

4th precinct unit in pursuit of a confirmed stolen vehicle westbound on Nepperhan from Ashburton Avenue. As the pursuit continued into the downtown Getty Square area at high rates of speed the suspect bailed out of the vehicle at the intersection of Main Street and Buena Vista Avenue causing the suspect vehicle to roll and strike the front of the building at 86 Main Street. The pursuing units engaged in a foot pursuit of the suspect and were able to place him under arrest at Main Street and Market Place after a violent struggle. 1 officer with minor injuries
