Description Of Incident: Fire on the roof of the firehouse.

Units assigned to house: E-207, Ladder 110, Sat-6, Field Comm.,

Battalion 31 and Division 11.

1514hrs- Numerous calls for heavy smoke and fire from the rear of the firehouse.

1515hrs- E-207 transmitting 10-75, advising items falling from the roof.

1516hrs- B-31 rpts fire on the roof of the firehouse. A tank has exploded. Co's taking a line through the firehouse. Req. EMS to scene.

1517hrs- Div. 11 req Haz Mat.

1518hrs- Sq-252 and 2nd piece responding.

1519hrs- Co's evacuating civilians from Police Station. Heavy fire condition on the roof.

1520hrs- Div 11. rpts 3rd propane tank has exploded.

1521hrs- Div. 11 using All-Hands. L-119 FAST

1522hrs- B-57 transmitting 2nd Alarm.

2nd Alarm: E-224, E-211, 202, 221; L-102, L-101; B-32 (RUL), B-35 (Safety).

1524hrs- B-57 rpts heavy fire on the roof of the firehouse. Req. E-224, 211 on arrival to take 2 lines to the top floor of the firehouse.

1527hrs- Div. 11 rpts 3 L/S/O, 4th underway. Fire starting to darken down.

1530hrs- Div. 11 req. Fire Marshalls forthwidth.

1535hrs- Car 4C rpts all visible fire has been K/D. Co's still trying to account for workers that had been on the roof. P/W/H. NYPD Level 1 Mobilization.

1544hrs- Field Comm. req. Photo Unit forthwidth. Also rpts fire was on roof of both Police Station and Firehouse.

1548hrs- Field Comm. rpts fire involved (5) -100 lbs propane tanks on the roof of a 200X100 3-story brick. Fire is U/C.
