The ATCEMS is hiring for Paramedics.

Base Salary: $38,089

Average DOL Overtime Compensation : $4,534

This represents the overtime that is inherent in the

56 hour schedule worked by ATCEMS paramedics.

You should probably have one year of ALS experience in a high volume, clinically sophisticated EMS system, but we are always looking for exceptional people of any experience level.

You are a life long learner and a well-educated paramedic, you must have a high school diploma and we prefer at least 30 hours of college credit.

You have an unwavering commitment to deliver exceptional customer service.

You must have a National Registry or Texas Department of Health Paramedic Certification or License or have obtained it no later than one week prior to the starting date of your academy.

You must hold a current certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).

Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS), OR Basic Trauma Life Support (BTLS) is preferred.

You want to understand the medicine behind your standards of care, not just memorize them.

You can have no more than 7 points on your state driving record (within the last 3 years).
