Dick Joyce passed away today

Not many details out yet. Just wanted to give our audience the heads up that Richard "Dick" Joyce has passed away. Dick was an active member of Rescue 14 and has served the Ossining Fire Department in many ways. He was an Ex-Captain from his company, he served as chief Dispatcher along with his good friend Nick for many years. Dick was also made a Honorary Deputy Chief a few years back. As info of the services are available I will post them here. You will be missed pal! If anyone would like to send a not to the family please click here. I will make sure the family receives it.

Wake services will be Friday April 7, 2006 at Leach and Thomas Funeral Home, State Street, Ossining (Just up from Main Firehouse) 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Fire Department services in dress uniform will be at 7:30pm. Funeral Services will be at St. Anns Church, Eastern Avenue, Ossining, Saturday April 8, 2006 at 10am.
