Dover, DE- Military Plane Crash 4-3-06

Time: 0630hrs

Location: Dover Air Force Base, just short of a runway.

Departments:

Description: C-5 Galaxy transport aircraft with (17) persons on board indicated a problem just after take off and returned to the base, crashing just short of the runway. (2) medivacs were requested. Aircraft broke apart between the cockpit and the cargo hold.
