Correct me if i'm wrong, but aren't the GMC Sierra and the Chevy Silverado almost the SAME EXACT TRUCK!?!?!?!?!

Just goes to show how F***ed up automobile insurance is. Gotta love it.

You are correct... Chassis are the same and options differ (obvioussly Denali's and Escalades are more expensive than a straight 1500 series pickup or Tahoe)

Silverado 1500 = Avalanche = Sierra 1500 = Escalade EXT = Hummer H2 SUT

Silverado 2500, 3500 = Sierra 2500, 3500 = Avalanche 2500 (no 3500 option)

Tahoe = Yukon = Denali = Escalade

Suburban (1/2 ton) = Yukon XL (1/2 ton) = Denali XL = Escalade ESV = Hummer H2 SUV

Suburban 3/4 ton = Yukon XL 3/4 ton

Just a warning if you are buying another car:

Hondas and Camrys seem to be the most stolen in Yonkers and the surrounding areas of lower Westchester. Add Acura Integras also.

These three cars are great, but just be warned the car thieves absolutely love them.

And Envoy = Trailblazer too, But AGAIN, Chevy is on the list and GMC isn't. That really gets me going. IT'S THE SAME FREAKIN' VEHICLE!!

I belive the front end components of the Silverado damage much easier and are much more costly than the GMC. The insurance companies arent just looking for the most stolen but the most expensive to repair also. Sucks for me I bought the Chevrolet 2500HD not the GMC.
