New Somers Station 6 ??

I heard rumors that there might be another addition to the fleet of Somers Fire Stations. Could Engine 132's HQ have been annexed at last night's fire?  :wink:

I can't speak as to whether or not Columbian Hose got hit or not as I wasn't there BUT Eng Co 181 was not assigned to cover. They responded to a hydrant that happened to be IFO Columbian Hose to establish a fill site for the tanker shuttle.

With all of the previous "take overs", Somers was detailed to cover.

Of course the ideas were there, - but just didn't the time!! Maybe next time.

Does anyone know where Somers Station #10 will be located at next.???

Sources say Somers has expanded again. Can they be stopped? Where will they strike next? Is this all part of a plan? Should Tony Sutton look out? Somers County?

(formally Mahopac Volunteer Fire Department) seeing how it's going to be torn down, we didn't think they'd mind. But remember us for the new house!!

So I was driving home after the Big Job and then work today and as I passed what I thought was my Fire Headquarters I see that we have been annexed by the Evil Empire and am now Somers Sta. 10.

They got us, I thought, and we even invited them in and gave them directions to get there. But then I started to look on the bright side. So...........

Chief Byrnes, the following items need attention.

1. Rear upstairs mens Room needs toilet replaced

2. Need new lights on Apparatus floor

3. Side door needs painting.

4. Roof leaks over rear bay behind the Rescue.

5. The rear Boiler keeps tripping out on safety

Thanks Ed, we look forward to getting this list whittled down.

BTW, who do we forward the utility bills to? The Somers Fire Department or The Somers Fire District? I dont want to send them to the wrong address, we all know what happens then.

I need to comment on the "buchanan-verplanck turf war" there was not any turf war. the green line down broadway and the shamrocks all over town ewere don as part of a st. patricks day celebration. no turf war involved. though some people may believe this. it was not the case. just because someone got affended by a shamrock does not meen turf war.
