I've seen that car. It looks very sharp. According to the website, they say that they are working towards having every agent a NYS peace officer. I'm about 99% sure that ASPCA in NYC are peace officers. They do carry.
-
I'm pretty sure it has to do with the various special taxing districts (sewers, garbage, water ect.) not public safety per se.
-
NYC is roughly 25% black.

This was the central theme of Nassau County Executive Tom Suozzi's 2007 State of the County address. It's actually worse there then here.

I had a somewhat similar experience back a few years ago...Got written on 17 up in Sullivan County and a PBA president who I know a long long time from down here called the trooper at least twice and never got a call back. Thankfully my sister knew of a lawyer up there who was able to get it down from 6 points to 2. Still $155 though.

that is excellent! well done! I think I was able to pick out some of the jobs in there are 255 Dante Ave, The other Dante one from this year, Ace Nails on Mill Road from this year, Oakridge, 67 Tuckahoe Ave, and Willow Road. Am I right?

Is there a spreader on the back on the International plow?

They've got some sick looking rigs in that garage. I've almost been in several fender benders coming out of the tolls trying to look when they've got the garage doors open. Also to note, TBTA and PA rigs all have some sort of fire suppression system on board.

Got mine yesterday, very nice book. Did notice one type-o though: the Field Com Unit listed under on the Port Authority page 41 is actually MTA PD. I was also hoping to see more info and photos of TBTA (now MTA B&T) apparatus.

I believe DEP Police have one as well.

It looks great! What did you use to build the body?
-
Very nice looking car, especially with the black steel wheels. Do I see a different type of LED lightbar on there?
-
I can't wait! I love those commercials.

this could have been a great snowstorm!

I guess the only comparable ones would be the Chevy Express or the GMC Savanna. The Dodge Sprinter is the "euro-van" style. Both GM vans offer diesel engines on the cargo and cutaway models. The Ford Fleet website still lists the E-Series as Ambulance Chassis. It also says that it has been the full size van leader since 1979. Something about this doesn't make sense. I can't see why Ford would drop the E-Series unless they were in fact going to go with the "euro-van."
