That was my first seminar and I thought it was awesome. Chief Tracy did an awesome job at keeping everyone attentive and kept it funny yet informative as well. It was nice to see some many departments there. Hats off to all the guys and gals from Elmsford FD on a job well done. Looking forward to next year already.

Can't wait to ride one from New Haven to Westchester. No more train rides with no electricity in the car.

Very nice choice xfirefighter484x, I'll have to agree with you on that one. She's my favorite too! Here's another pic I found of TL-78, would love to drive this one. lol

Even on a rig, I can't stand the new look on the Ford's.

ok, i was finally able to get the street names off and now i see the engine i was talking about. but if you have the street names on, there is an engine right under where it says elm st in front of the building.

I think if you look like closely, it looks like there is a 10th engine hidden by the Elm Street wording in front the building. Anyone else see it, or is it just me?

I would imagine that Specialty Warning Systems made sure that the person who owns this cars has legitimate reasons for having this work done to the car. Just a random thought, maybe this a car for a federal agency, but it just cannot be publicized as a federal car. Just a random thought, no idea.

Looking around online, here is any interesting chevron idea that I have never seen or heard of. I found this on a site focusing on Texas Apparatus. Ft. Worth E27 Arlington E1 & E2 Definately chases the eye without any emergency lights activated.

The original plan was for a 2 bay house to house TL78 and E77. Village politicians decided against the idea. A two bay house would still be awesome for us. As of right now, we have a utility truck which sits outside 24/7 by the quarters of Engine 80. We also have a deputy chief's car which which sits outside the Quarters of Engine 80 as well. Hopefully we will be able to move into the new firehouse very soon.

Glenville Fire District is part of the Town of Greenburgh, and for the most part has a Tarrytown mailing address I believe. I believe it pretty much covers Benedict Ave from Rt 119 up to Hackley School and Rt 119 from Dunnings Dr up to the Tarrytown border. The Glenville fire house is still on Spring St off of Benedict Ave. I've heard that Glenville still houses their antinque there, but I'm not sure. Tarrytown FD covers the Glenville Fire District. I remember 2 or 3 years ago, prior to being a member of the Tarrytown FD, there was a brush fire behind the then Bayer property at which I believe 4 Tarrytown companies and I believe 1 Elmsford company worked at. Question for everyone else: Does a "Pat" designation stand for patrol? And if so, weren't patrols later redesignated to rescues? Can I see the Tarrytown FD listing please? Thanks guys

At the Hackley Fire in August, the Tarrytown DPW trucked up 55 gallon drums of diesel to refuel the trucks at the scene. I believe that they used hand pumps to fuel the trucks, but I'm not sure.

RWC, The Tarrytown and Dobbs Ferry PD do not have their own Marine Unit persay. The Greenburgh PD is in charge of the Marine Unit which is run by Greenburgh officers, and officers from the river towns. I know that Dobbs Ferry does have man power belonging to the unit and an old GPD fly car that was repainted to Dobbs Ferry colors and is used to transport the boat. As far as I know, Tarrytown PD does not have any officers on the Marine Unit. I do believe that Sleepy Hollow PD does have an officer on the unit. Last I saw, the boat was docked in Tarrytown.
