Looking to get rid of the last of the lights I have. First up is a pair of Feniex Cobra 2x, dual head blue/amber. These are hardwire version with flashback shield. Asking $125 each or $200 for both, these were a custom order as the company doesn't stock blue/amber regularly. Next up is a Whelen Flatlight LED version, blue/blue. Cord has been cut on it as it was hardwired. Asking $75 for the visor light. I've been following this, and there was in my opinion little to no thought put into this, just as others have stated a knee jerk reaction. Some have stated about politicians private security, are they going to put 7 bullets in their 10 round magazines? Are they going to sell all illegal guns and magazines once they are illegal? All this law is going to do, is make life more difficult for legal, law-abiding gun owners. The criminals could care less what this law says, and are probably laughing at it. Why? Because they already have their guns, and are not going to register them or put only 7 rounds in their magazines. This law is not going to stop gun violence or get illegal guns off the streets. The only thing I don't agree with, and this is not to start a pissing match or piss people off but it is my opinion. Are police department issued guns only going to be excluded from the ban, or is every gun a police officer own going to be excluded. I have no problem what-so-ever if department issued guns are exempt; but if a police officer has lets say two department issued guns, and 5 other privately owned guns are those exempt as well? Again this is not to start a pissing match or have people jump down my throat, it is my serious opinion and a serious question. Why should a privately owned gun that is used for hunting or target practice be exempt just because it's owned by a police officer and has nothing to do with his/her job. But all that aside, I think this law should have had a lot more thought, time, and input before even going for review then to vote; and will accomplish absolutely nothing.

I do not want to create any problems or cause a fight, but those first few photos show a lot of people standing around, and each picture has more and more people showing up and standing around. I know they have their own fire department, but how long did it take for the first piece of apparatus to arrive on scene?

Since when in NYS is it legal for police to have forward facing blue lights? Forward facing blue is designated for volunteer fire POVs except of course in the city where they put it on the MTA busses. Its legal to have rear facing blue lights, but since when has it been legal to have forward facing?

No, two wrongs definitely do not make it right, but people are always quick to bring up that XYZ fire department has forward facing blue lights, but you'll never hear someone say XYZ police department does too what about them.

That's disheartening that a hospital based EMS agency is doing that to a local EMS agency. I know they say it's not competition to a degree and that they're just keeping up with calls, but come on its obvious you want the money from the patients; especially if "Your going to Piedmont Hospital." They obviously just want the money and the fact that they are "racing" to the scene puts not only the crews at risk but the public as its uneccesary. If they have a contract with the county I'd be curious to see what that contract says and whether or not they're abiding by it. It sounds like the county needs to get involved at some point and say enough is enough, if one company calls the other for assistance thats fine, but if the other agency can cover their call so be it.

I have two visor lights I'm looking to sell or trade. It is a Whelen Strobe Flatlighter red/red. I had blue lenses for it when I used it but sold those with another light. The cord was cut but it does have a plug and light has been tested and works. Second is a knock off LED visor light, blue/white. Has on/off/pattern select on the front, and on/off on either side. I would definitely say that looks like a tornado forming and crossing the thruway. You can tell somethings coming just based on how dark it starts getting and you have a sudden pick up of wind and rain. Interesting video, wonder what the National Weather Service is going to say about this and if it caused any damage. Would definitely freak me out driving up the thruway and all of a sudden seeing that. Looks like a few people drove through it too.
