does anyone know if the state or federal government has grants out there for schools out west that need them??
-
please someone correct me if im wrong, but didnt Ex-Gov. Pataki reinstated the death penalty when he was in office becuase of a murderer by the name of Nathanel White who killed 7 women between the ages of 16-25. (who is currently serving time in Greehaven Correctional Facility.) so why has NY waited so long to give someone the death penalty? are law makers and other politcaians seeing the Death Penalty as "capital punnishment"?

Your blanket statement is kinda bold...that's what happens when those who are in career anything don't know what its like to volunteer in an agency where covering calls is hard to do with limited man power. I do as many calls as I can in my VAC and bust my rear to do the best that i can. If people like you have a problem with that too bad! If you have an issue with calls not being covered in your area be part of the solution not the problem...

ur right thats why departments need to get a rehab SOG in place weather some people like it or not. its time for modern day firefighting not "old school" firefighting

as much as i hate and i mean hate snakes i do watch alot of shows about them. according to a local expert on snakes he stated to me that the younger snakes give all their venom in a single bite weather u sept on them or if u are messing with them. adult rattlesnakes give something called a "dry bite" which is puncture only no venom. if provoked the snake will deliver a almost lethal amount of venom. like i said i hate snakes to me the only good snake is a dead snake. sorry just my personal oppion.

i see what ur saying but when u have members of departments who think they need to be superman and not rehab at all...clearly monitering of firefighters should be more consistant with the number of LODD's that happen after the call and during the call.
-
Unless the departments u r with know if someone from ems pulls a firefighter for rehab they better report it to IC....irish knows a lot about rehab. And so does als...should be a few before we hear from him.
-
In cortlandt vac 1 rig to the scene also rehab unit. Additional crew reports to the building to staff 2nd rig if needed

Thats one pissed off snake!!!...i have a suggestion move back to westchester ull never find those ugly buggers here...or atleast where there are alot of people
-
PVFD doesnt pay for the ALS unit during the day either....the town does
-
no, u are absoluty correct...there are agencies that abuse the 911 system like it is their own people they are sending out on a call. i have gotten pretty good about not being ALS dependant. i have taken alot of calls where the closest ALS intervention was the hospital...and why shut up..when ur right ur right...its just that simple. some people might not like it when ur right and u prove ur right by making them look foolish but hey it happens...i remember one medic asking why i put his stuff away when he wasn't done using it. i kinda felt like a d*ck.

good evening everyone while i should have been good about posting this earlier i completely had a major brain fart. Today on the 7th day of December the year 2011, marks the 70th anniversy in which many US service men and women lost their lives when the japaneese decided to bomb the pacific fleet stationed at Pearl Harbor Hawaii. this event would not only mark the entry of the United States into the 2nd World War but would make the world realize that the United States would be a "SUPER POWER". FDR would later call December 7th "A DAY THAT WILL LIVE IN INFAMY". so with that said lets all take a moment and pause to remember those 2,402 that were killed that awful day. thank you everyone stay safe Ken
