I've seen ambulances with blue lights in the front and rear, I believe that Mamaronck(problably spelt wrong)VAC, has blue front and rear.

im not going to bash anyone from port chester but it was poorly planed. The judging was awful I have never seen a parade judged by sitting at a table. When we where marching I didnt even know that there was a reviewing stand. Any one know how many guys Otown had in line? I know that MFD had 35-40.

There are so many classes out there now its insane. I think NFPA needs to come up with a National Training program to reduce some of these accidents that aren't called for. I must say I have yet to take EVOC or CEVO but I've heard that they are great classes, the main thing that FF's/ EMS/ PD officers should remember you are no help to the victim if you yourself dont make it to the scene. I got the same idea reading the article that he "stole" it.

All of this is crazy, all of our brothers and sister who died that day do not diserve to be taken advantige of. Yesterday I was here at work and everyone here at 8:46am went into the conference room and did a moment of silence, the bosses turned on the TV so they could watch the memorial service and they told them that they didnt have to do any work if they didnt want to, one of the ladies here lost her son,a cousin, and a friend she was here wearing an angel pin with an American Flag, she was the first to stand and the last to sit. I could see that she still remebered and so did everyone else. By the time I got back to the desk it was dead silence in the back room where the TV was on, after the memorial service I heard people talking about how the US needs to get out boys home and give them the proper welcome home they need. but for now many people here where I work "WILL NEVER FORGET" those who lost their lives. I know I won't.

I was getting ready to start my english class at highschool when a friend of mine came running in and told my teacher that a plane has hit one of the WTC buildings. My teacher at the time turned on the radio and just as she turned it on the second plane hit the tower. the school got on the PA and said that they would be evacuating the school because they felt it was the right thing to do because of the fact that a bunch of students parents worked down there. Little did I know that two friends of mine father's would never come home. By the time I got home from school the first tower had fallen and I went and met with my cousins as they were getting off the bus. while doing so I saw Peekskill PD, NYSP, WCPD all heading towards Indian Point. The first thing that came to my mind is "this is too organized, this is no accident someone ment to do this to us. But why?" A few days following my Aunt called and said that my cousin was going to go over seas. where he was going she didnt know.

Ok did anyone else notice what the lady was wearing in the interview? ummm...hmmmm...would you all order from somthing like that? for crying out lound she had a buck tooth was missing a tooth, gee the things that make you go uuuggghhhh.

Thats not right, It never fails when ever I start doing something fun they wanna take it away. I got to the city a few times a year (until I move) and I always have my camera (even my cell phone which has a camera) and I take pictures of anything and everything, last time I was there I ran into two mounted officers and took a picture of them writing a cabbie a ticket for speeding(which is worse getting pulled over by a bicycle cop or a mounted officer?). That same trip I saw ladder 10 engine 10 returning to HQ from a call (took lots of pics) saw the Mayor (flipped him off and took a pic). It sounds like the Mayor wants more money apparently people paying taxes isnt enough. So with that said if they are going to charge for a permit to take pictures then they need to stop selling camera phones.
