Where i am a memeber yes we do have 3 cheif cars the newest of which was posted on here. when i was younger and my father was asst. chief he did not get a truck until he was 1st asst chief. its only been about 11+ years that every cheif has a car. my father used to drive is 88 s-10 pick up with a light bar that the FD gave him along with 2 halagon flashers on the bumper. 1- 07 expedtion 2- 04 expedtion 3- 99 dodge pickup

hey not for nothing it doesnt matter what a department does in three days. you have your good days and your bad days. the other night in mahopac we at montrose didnt have a good night. congrats to o-town for a nice win they deserved it. we are also going to DC tonight. if you recall us at the "'trose" have taken best color guard beating o-town in plesantville. it doesnt matter how they look on the road but what they look like going past the judges. yes i must admit 4 american flags looks sharp and hard to beat, but i can be done. with that said good luck to everyone going to DC tonight!!!

I was like you at one point ALS could not stand the "illegal's" but the more i think about it the more it makes sense. they are working the jobs that we don't want. like the fast food joints. I mean they usually get my order wrong, but who cares about that allergic reaction to mustard everyone once in a while? I mean I can see if one has a criminal record from their home country, and has commited crimes here and is found guilty.

wow!!! so much detail about what happened. Its hard to believe that the owner of the property sold it to the City of Charleston for $11.5 million. I saw that article a few weeks ago was very shocked that someone could be that greedy and wont money for a site where 9 Firefighters lost their lives.

There are a ton of spots on 9 and 9A that need to be taken care of. For example, in Montrose about 1 mile north of the Welcher Ave. exit (where you can see Cortlandt train station) needs to have something taken care of. Had many bad accidents there and some that could have been a lot worse then they actually were. That intersection at 9A and 134 is also a bad spot. Even when you are in an emergency vehicle. I know when I have to go to the Med Center I go about 30 mph when I hit that area with a green light. Just because people think they have to get ahead of an ambulance, fire truck, police car or what ever the case maybe. I have had too many close calls at that area I really hope that DOT really does a traffic study at that intersection and all other parts of 9and 9A.
