J/k chief!!! congrats and good luck to those guys. and there is 1 Key word that was in the memo that Monty so kindly posted for all of us to read and that is ASSIST. i recently took a class where there was paid and volunteer personal and the class went very well. we all learned the samething and the worked as if we have worked before. and many of the people in the class are on the tech rescue team, in which i had a chance to work with so I am defending these guys and saying they all have alot of qualifactions and really busted there bum to help out the county. Again i say good luck to the Tech Rescue Team.

I must say while leaving o-town on rt 9 it looked alot worse. i was suprised to see that one lane of traffic was still moving. diffenetly thought it was alot worse then it was. nice pics. wouldnt fault anyone with having statflight on standby.

i see what your saying. but i am a member of a department who has a ladder tower that was used early this morning. you mean to tell me that my department doesnt know what we are doing?? and we also have a rescue. and again are you telling me we dont know how to do rescue work??

hey Firecapt, building has had 3 different owners has gone from a mexican join, to a 50's style burger place and then to a pizzeria. i believe it's type 2 construction (not 100% sure), flat roof, kitchen w/ pizza ovens ifo the store front, dinning in the back along with a private party room adjoning in the back. I'm not sure when it was built im guessing in the early 60's maybe later. not sure of the rennovation's as long as i can remember those three things are the only ones i can remember. so its changed 3 times.

hate to rain on your parade but not many departments are gonna know how many members they are gonna get on a scene. and what is this "real" truck company you talk of??? are we talking about NY city, Yonkers, Mount Vernon, Peekskill, Ossining? where all the personel that are members at that house only do truck company ops? Millwood does have needs for a stick. just like some of the departments on the list in the previous post. Good Luck with it Millwood!!!
