from my understanding of ur question: peekskill fd runs 2 ff/medics (39m1 and m2) the corltandt regional car is staffed by 1 medic who is on for 12 hrs they get paid to run the fly car (35m1 or 2 depending on coverage area). not sure if it has changed.

it is my understanding that ccvac has been in talks with a commerical agency to provide a mutual aid ambulance. an agreement was found in some paper work a few months ago. im sure once this agreement gets signed it will be made public who the agreement is with. ccvac has also been covering many of its own calls as well as croton calls when ovac can not. ill try to post some numbers later in the am. as for croton i hope everthing works out

tarrytown is a beautiful place. and kinda compact. where are u gonna put a 2 department station with a good response time for the village??? the new ladder is on rt 117 and getting down rt 9 to get into town at 5-10am is no picnic. i happen to enjoy the 2 alfs that my department runs along with the KME rescue pumper we have.

while in baltimore for the ems expo i took an active shooter class and was very intrestead in doing a drill like this. after all hearing how perpared VTEMS was for their situation sounds like we all need to fallow their lead

your right on that one. but on the otherside its good to know that someone with a background in EMS is there to help you out when poo hits the fan. ALS, part of the reason why i admire u so much is ur thought process and how u do ur dective work to figure out whats going on.
