  1. if it wasnt for stupid people our departments would run without problems. what the heck where the morons thinking?? i really hope they got into alot of trouble for that stupid stunt they pulled. and for the guy taking the video bragging because he got it on video is nothing to be proud about. he should be happy his friend didnt get hurt badly.

  8. i dont know much just work there...lol
  9. Brian please send me a pm I will answer ur question.
  10. it is not required that our members go to the fire house to catch the rig to respond to a call...the only peice of appuratus that gets requested is the casade unit. coming from buchanan...u have to understand what the first alarm assignments are before making statements...it is not requied for an engine from the department to respond in right away. hence having them stand by in their own HQ.
  11. in orange county we have als txp's from St. anthony's to where ever, bon secor hospital er/floor to where ever really cant remember what else is out there.
  12. why open pandoras box???? if u remember verplanck used to cover the entire tri-village with an ambulance. until 1984 when cortlandt vac was created. the vilage of Buchanan pays CCVAC for coverage and requires that we have 1 extra ambulance. i understand ur thought process. just the pride runs too deep in these three towns. as for the amount of appuratus in the tri-village, its 7 engines, 2 tower ladders, 1 heavy rescue, 1 medium rescue, 1 ambulance, 1 casade truck, 1 boat, 3 utilites and 9 chief trucks.
  13. happy anniversery EMTBRAVO.NET!!!!!!!
  14. another great job done by specialty. good luck to PHFD with the truck
  15. nothing really. we do alot of transports out of Kingston Hospital and Benidectine. mostly Kingston hospital. we just got the contract for Ten Broeck Commons. we also go to Woodland Ponds in New Paltz. there are others just can remember what they are at this time. Our westchester coverage: Somers Manor, Waterview Hills, Salem Hills, BHCF, Northern Westchester Restoritive Care (tree tops), Cortlandt Healthcare, Bethel Croton (the inn and Rehab), Bethel Ossining, Victoria Home, NYS Vets home, Cedar Manor, Westledge, Holy Comfort field home and seabury, automatic Mutal aid (if we have an ambulance available) to Cortlandt VAC. in putnam county: Putnam Nursing and Rehab, txp from Putnam Hospital to GHCF, matual aid to Philipstown VAC I'm sure there are more im just forgetting them at this time.
  16. not really true...dc911 still dispatches HVP (care1ems) when plesant valley cant get out. and usually the kingston crew covers the call since we have been posting them in plesant valley on the weekends and over night during the week.
  17. we havent offically gone to our Care1EMS uniforms yet...as soon as we do then we will be called Care1EMS.

  23. had said he had it running 15 years ago. still has oil in it as well as anti-freeze. truck does not run. but hey you never know what would happen.
  24. after doing some research i found out that this engine was bought by a few members who were fuding with their department at the time. they called themselves the "Renagades" engine used to be painted orange and white. just thought i would throw that out there. for those paying attention to whats going on, we have been in contact with the person selling the engine and are working very hard on bringing it home. would be nice to see it roll out for our 100th anniversery in 2019. i will try to keep u all updated.
