And where would this equipment and personnel be better used? Is there something wrong with trying upgrade equipment? Every department tries to take advantage of grants, I am sure yours as well. I believe rumors of a new truck and boat for your department from the Tappan Zee Bridge project are floating about. This is not a waste of tax dollars? WIth this new truck, will you have to build another new firehouse to house it?

All members of the Special Response Team are trained to use ALL of the equipment that Grant's (read your tax dollars) have purchased. Its not like we purchased a Rescue, that has to put a piece of apparatus out of service to staff. As far as tax money goes, who do you think pays for all of our equipment? Did the Echo Bay project have money trees grown to aquire equipment and personel? Bottom of da Hill, as far as the County needed more pieces of equipment, don't you think the tax payers could do with a few less firehouses to pay for in Tarrytown?

You can do a FOIL for any cause of death, aside from an active homicide investigation. Death Certificates are filed in the local town offices, like birth certificates.

What is wrong with having two helicopters, or three or four? What would happen if it was grounded due to maintenance? Redundancy keeps the machine going. There may be plenty of equipment on standby(i.e. METU, or the USART trailer), no other equipment, works every day for the Tri-County area.

According to a good source, WCPD aviation has placed an order for Airwolf.

The village of Ossining has an animal control officer, the town on the other hand, does not. The town has generally required its resident's to hire private contractors to trap/remove animals. Westchester County Police ESU will now carry humane ways to capture these animals, as well as quieter means to dispatch said animals. This in the long run will save the residents of Ossining/Cortlandt money. Of course if the problem is above their scope, they will defer to an outside contractor with more experience.

I think they are getting it all from Bob's discount furniture

If they are checked, you should be fine. You could pack a gun (if licensed, and of course, properly packaged), as long as the ammunition was in a separate compartment.
-
I'll reserve you a room with a view at WMC for stomach pumping. Take lots of pictures because you probably won't remember much of it

You don't have to have a diploma or a GED, but I think a rap sheet is required
