Not for nothing, I believe that we all have come to form a certain bond with members of our own departments, and those neighboring. I personally would only go down with a group of guys that i know and trust. I would not want to go down there as a lone gun and get teamed up with A) some yahoo, that is gonna go off free lancing, or someone i dont know, and honestly, dont trust. I understand that the level of training is becoming standard across the nation, but that won't do a lick of good if you don't know the level determination and loyalty the guy behind you has. Just my $.02

OUr department generally prefers that you use the supplied turnout gear from the department, but for things such as gloves, hoods, and helmets there is some degree of flexibility, as long as it is OSHA and NFPA compliant.

Wilson Woods wave pool is really nice, but the patrons of that facility ruin it. Took a whole year to make it beautiful again, its taking weeks to break it back down

Playland is run by the county parks department, Its generally croweded. If you want to go to a nice county run facility, I would say that Saxon Woods is the best bet. Just my $.02

they were better a few months ago, kinda seems like they have gone down hill since the new place Jimmy Less's opened in North White Plains. DON'T get take out, takes FOREVER!! I highly recomentd the brisket and their home made chips. And the have some mighty cold beer, if you like that sort of thing!
