For a guys who would jump on crocs, and grab snakes and do all kinds of insane stuff, kinda sucks to go out by a stingray. I loved the guy, he had energy and he made learning fun. Most hosts on these shows "talk from the boat" and are not in the water with the animals. He really wanted to help the animals and help us understand animals. It's a big loss and he will be missed.

whats a good way to protect your toes in training? i got leather boots and will never go back to rubber. it's like walking on the moon in those things.

is it just me or is Code-3 been slacking on offering new models? they have no older models at all. and the ones they do have are so so. What i would love to see is a 1/32 scale ladder truck. i think that would be cool.

i wish it was computer done but some where there is a department that's SOP's say this is all good. from the looks of it it is a one car fire. maybe a overheated engine who knows, but it was not a 5 alarm, people hanging out of windows fire. the guy goes all out in the wrong lane and i am glad that it was traffic cause that most likely stopped alot of cars from turning down the road. think about how many times you have turned onto lets say central ave and couldn't really see what was up the ways a bit. now think if this fire engine is roaring up the road. could get ugly real fast. i do like the part, about 25 sec in, where he basicly rams the cars, hoping they get out of the way. a classic video of how NOT to drive.

Driving in traffic how about this kind of driving. it is to a car fire that look to be under control.

Does this company's bylaws also require all members attend every drill and every meeting? Are they REQUIRED to be in peak physical condision? or are those areas kinda wishy washy but the "You are required to be at all parades" by-law section very straight forward. i really would have to quit this department if they really don't care about their own men and are more worried about attendence at a parade. unless you are giving away Grant money to the company with the highest % of memebership present i really don't see why they have to be required.

i have a copy of the Borthers documentry on my computer. it really is well done and i it also has a storyline to it. by storyline i mean they are trying to find one another and it is THEIR story. it aint fake, there are no CGI effects, no blue screen. just real gritty reality. not this fake reality TV crap. The moive looks like just another studio trying to make a buck.

I have to wonder why he was on the boat at all. the job could have been done by setting a small fire say in the bow and then get off and let it grow to a bigger fire. As seen in the video, throwing a bucket of gasoline on wood and rags might not have been the smartest thing to do. i am guessing but it looks like the wood/rag combo take up about a 15' x 20' area. the boat couldn't been more then a 30' boat, was all that really necessary? of course not. goes to show how wearing you PPE can really save your butt cause that was a fairly good shot he took. lucky a peice of wood from the fuel or from the boat itself didn't get him. It is all common sence. if he had stepped off the boat onto the dingy and just threw a flare and gunned it out of there it would have been alot smarter, but i guess he just had tunnel vision on that one. stay safe guys

did they also tell you about how back in the day they never wore air masks and that smoking a cigar would help you breath smoke? ya just cause some people did it a LONG time ago doesn't mean it is right. May i also point out that i don't think the actual dept. has been pointed out. As stated some guys know what rig it is, but i don't. The point is not WHO it is but WHAT their doing. this who idea about riding on back boards is done and over with, JUST DON'T DO IT!. As for jr. little comment about how we can all "screw ourselves" , GROW UP! someday you are going to be a big boy and will have to answer to real bosses who will fire you from your job for being that rude to them. we are all here to HELP one another as well as the community. they are going to have little faith in us if we fall off the back of the rig on Main St. and kill ourselves for a trophy that will collect more dust the the OSHA guidlines that had not been read by the people who are on top of the rig. I would like to know what charges this person was brought up on. Is carrying a badge in a bag that says EMT really warrent a felony charge? i am thinking the person was doing something shifty or was maybe drinking, i don't you make something up, that they go away for 72 HOURS!!

ok so let me see the guys both fell asleep in there chairs? why didn't they talk to one another and say hey i need some coffee. i know that wrking late sucks but they were about haf way through their shifts. it would seem more realistic that they pass out at the very end of a crazy shift where your pooped. but it seems like they both just kinda passed out. i know that 60 Control has a kinda dark room and i guess that could contribute to being tired (of course i don;t think anyone has ever fell asleep there).

ok so we have confirmed that the probie is gay, and it is good to see Lou is looking for help. they do need more fire. i know it costs money but every once and a while they should have a big fire for lets say 15 mins. i am sure you can tie plot stuff into a fire scene. example last season when the chicky was there and they were inside and no one knew if she could do it. he i can put a smoke machine in a hallway and get some lighting efrfects to make it look like a fire is behind a door. but thats just my POV. please discuss your views

ok that seems a little dangerous don;t you think? i mean we all know what happens if you do it wrong. i would think that people at home don't have training on how to use it.
