so we have a bloody ladder, a drunk chief, and a injured civilian. sounds alot like the plot from a episode of "Rescue Me". how is this not being investigated by real cops? i am sure they will do a fine job but i would think that insurance company's would want a little more in-depth investigation then this.

What i got from reading, they have no apparatus and no money, but respond in a van which i am guessing has some " high-tech cameras ". Um do these guys actually goto calls? i would think that the FDNY would be covering these areas and these guys just do traffic control. if you have no apparatus and no firehouse, what are you responding with? "We are on scene and watching. it's going good" Also, a 18 year old chief is not a good sign. He can't know how to keep books and he is selling everything off. I am sure the money was all in his bar and in his pocket. he is young and thought "who would know?" this is going to turn out real bad for him.

just pay the tickets. I am sure Uncle Sam has the money somewhere to pay this off. or maybe have the guys who got the tickets pay them. i know it is alot of cash for one guy but i guess you should have paid for the parking in the first place.

Buyer beware! the agent should have mentioned that there is a siren, but you bought a house next door to a fire house, what were you expecting? Pelham Manor still uses the siren but only during the day and not after 9pm. after a while i am sure they will get used to it. the guy mooning is a complete fool and notice no PPE on all but one of the guys.(he must have been the new guy, didn't get the "we don't wear our gear when we train" memo) I think the only thing missing is a beer in their hands. we are always under a microscope. this is why you don't go out drinking with your department gear on, or act like a fool on calls and when your doing "routine" calls. you never know who is watching or where the cameras are.

ok is this kid getting high on his own supply? you cant make any calls so you call 911 ONLY because it's free? who were you planning to talk to? a nice friendly police man? a fireman? i don;t think that your friends are gonna be on the other end of 911

did you make sure the pull down menu was on the right selection? other then that it could be a driver? sometimes these computers can be a pain.

It's easier to just make it long enough to fit on your front brim, that way you mask up, put the helmet on then pull it down under your chin, click on the air supply and off you go. Thats how we were taught at the academy. plus if you look out a window or bump into something hard enough you helmet will fall off.

they had a long time to plan this final episode but it ended like " huh?" for a second i thought my TV had craped out at the last second but then the credits rolled and i was like thats is some real cliffhanger stuff. i thought it was good and there was suspense at every corner since you had no idea what could happen. They could have let us know what happened to Silvio, did he die? is he in a coma for ever? as for the movie idea i think that that would be a bad idea. it would not work out. you need an ongoing story flow, not something that has a start, middle and an ending. But it was a great run and it seems like yesterday that there was this new show on HBO about the mob. It will be missed.

I like the women in the trailer who's ride in an ambulances was denied because it was not pre-approved. Ya he is kinda annoying but he makes things "funny" so that you can bear watching it. i mean who really wants to sit down and watch a documentary on gun control and columbine? Sept 11? i will wait for it to come out and see it for a dollar.

well put Chris. I have to agree and think that the rescue team just got tunnel vision and were to complacent with there search. i mean they had her location so it was not like they had to search the whole structure to find her. Maybe there were two bathrooms in the place and they searched one and didn't find anyone, then continued their search. i will wait for all the details but your eyes never lie, so use them.

I've been riding the train to NYC from Pelham for free for years. all you do is show the conductor your shield discreetly and they just walk on by. if you make a big deal about it then they might ask for ID and be a pain in the a$$. just be respectful and most guys will let ya ride. i have never taken the bus but i would think that they would let you ride for free also.

OK the town has a population of 27,217, is 3.1 sq miles. it is a suburb of Cleveland and they cant get extra cops? Its is kinda like saying that Morris Park (pop of about 30,000) in the Bronx doesn't have enough money for the cops so the FDNY has to help out. It is a dumb idea and you are either one or the other, not both. you want to have them write tickets for fire related things like parking in front of a hydrant or in a fire lane, well that makes sense. but Joe Firemen should not be chasing down perps when he is off. also side thought, are these guys gonna get two pensions when they retire? they are doing two jobs that have a pension system. just a random thought (all my population numbers are from Wikipedia, and is more for comparison to size and not the actual communities themselves)
