Hey guys i am heading up to liberty to play tomorrow so if anyone is off or just hanging out and want to come play a tune up game before the big EMTBravo match come on up. i wonder how all the departments that just bought Seagraves are taking this. I know Pelham just bought a new ladder and it is being made now to be delivered soon sometime. good thing we have the old 73 Mack CF tower ladder and the 76 Mack engine. all these guys complaining about there reserve engines being 10-15 years old, well ours are older them ME! but we still use them and they get the job done. I know Pelham Manor aint FDNY but still that macks run and i have never seen either of them out of service for more then a week for anything.

i think that it is but that they recreate certain scenes that cant be shown on TV. such as say they are doing a S&R and the come upon a badly burned body, you cant show that on TV, FCC would flip out if there was a chared body on TV. they can recreate them going into the room and pulling a not so bad looking body out, thus allowing viewers to see how it's done. i am sure we have all seen what a bad burn looks like, now imagine your kid is watching it at 8pm, would be bad you know. i mean if they are redoing guys climbing a ladder cause the lighting was crappy then ya thats lame. as far as i could tell when they go to the bedroom that was going it looked like it could have been legit. not very smokey, but maybe was already vented.

Na it is all about "Firehouse USA- FDNY". like i said before the idea of a diffrent city each season would be great. it lets you see how other guys do it. some where bunker pants, other the 3/4 length boots, some guys wear Scott packs and others go super human lung capacity. just enjoy the show and learn stuff

i thought the show was pretty good. looks like they are gonna get inside shots on some of these fires, which is good since all we ever see is smoke coming out a window when they do the reality thing with firefighting. i think they should look into doing a FDNY house for next season, then maybe like L.A., Miami, whatever. would be interesteing to see how diffrent cities do stuff.

has anyone been able to play multi-player yet? i go on all the time but no one is online

i am sure one day is not going to hurt a Billion dollar company. are we forgeting that there are other things that use gas? all the petrolieum products. the price of gas goes up as a whole. not just gasoline. i got a crazy idea. lets all pick a day and everyone go buy a hybrid. YA that will stick it to the man!! i think that the SUV's need to go. you know, they have the technology to make cars that run on french fry grease, you telling me we can find a cheaper fuel?

i thought they were called the "Chair" Force? or at least that was what my cousin use to call them. i know it is all in good fun.

Little tinkering and i got the drivers updated. sweet game. played till 3am

anyone have issues getting the game to run? it says i need to update my drivers for the video. so i am not on it yet. if this happened to anyone else, tell us how you fixed it.

Again, IT IS ENTERTAINMAENT. i know females are not on the front lines and that they do get caght in the mix cause s*** happens. but i think that maybe they [the writers] didn't want to hear crap about there being no women on the show as soldiers. also, this is like star trek fans fighting over things that happen on star trek. It is make beleive, ok. the show is not a documentry of the war. it is made-up. the point is to entertain you. i know that if 10 soldiers are fighting for 3 day THEIR GONNA RUN OUT OF AMMO, but i will suspend that for the sake of "it just a show". and i will gladly defend this country but guess what, it not my thing to do right now in my life, ok. some people are and have been in the mititary, such as ALS, whom i has trained me and i think is a great guy. i never said anything about the soldiers just that the person writing the post was a bit TOO into the realism of the show. also at not point does it say anything about the poster being a female.

SEPT 10 will be the day. it is a month out so we should be able to schedule the day. who else is coming? it is cheap, it is fun and of course it is fall so it wont be that hot.

Did he say females can't fight? what is this the 1950's? maybe he thinks they should be in the kitchen cooking. sounds like the only action he has seem is from playing Socom on Playstation. i don;t really like the show but thats cause it is not really my thing. i watched an episode and just didn't get into it.

Thats just a stock letter that they send out. i got the same one when i took the test years ago. was this the county test or was it a city specific test? cause WP will never call anyone who does not live there and with MV, well i aint gonna fight fire for no pension when i retire and a whoping $25,000 a yr. I am on the top of the list for pelham with Residencey and Volunteer credits. it aint as busy as WP but we get called to MV and New Rochelle.

Ya this was a shock to me cause i met him about a week ago and he seemed upbeat and fine. I knew that he had lung cancer but i didn't think that it was this bad.

OH Yes they do. or it can be live bus burns or van burns. they have a fairly large car burn section. they should have a propain tree in a car for live car fire burns. now THAT would be sweet

i love the training center. it is the highlight of my year when we go up there. I like the high rise but one thing kinda is a pain and thats that you cant smoke up the rooms very well. i think that the center should install those big green windows on there on some of the floors so we can close off a room and make some smokey conditions. we had to put a tarp up over the windows and try and seal it best we could. kinda worked but i think the shutters would be a good addition.

I think that it should not really be an issue unless you have some real non Kosher stuff inked on your body(ie. racial hate crap and the like) i to agree that you should hold off on new ink.

I have the one for PLaystation cause someone got it for me as a gift. it is an alright game. i mean you have unliimted air and as much hose as you need but the victums slowly get worse if you ignore them for to long. it is good for just tooling around on a rainy day.

I just bought it and when it comes i will give everyone an update on how it is. looks cool though
