Hey does anyone have a website that goes through how to make one with webbing? i had learned in a class once and just need to refresh myself on it. i am sure we could all use a little refresher on this stuff.

well i give credit to my brother for the film work since he was manning the camara. i was busy with the fire. the unedited version is 25 min long so you may be in there some where. i tried to cut some of the slower parts out and include stuff that was at least job related. no need ot see me walking and getting some water. maybe i will put a unedited copy up sometime just so if you REALLY want to see it you can. Thanks for the love with my first project. i will keep on it.

VIDEO OF THE FIRE OK I could not sleep so i decided to finish this clip of the split rock fire. ya i know it is a huge file but it is all fire ground stuff. also it is not some rock and roll clip so don;t expect like crazy angles and trucks flying down highways. this is my first video made from a camara. it is like 14 mins long. enjoy. now i need some sleep.

anyone else have an problem where all they get on FDNY channels is tones? i adjust the squelch but it does not help. i mean i get the guys talking too but it can be like 5 mins of just tones and stuff. what the heck is up with my scanner

what are they actually demenstrating in the video? they just kinda crawl in and then stop like a foot in, is that like "hey folks, this is how fast stuff can go wrong in this job." also love the guy with not bunker pants running in to help. always wear all your gear.

hey come on, who has never been stuck in the bathroom and didn't think about kicking someones a** with a claw hammer. so serious anger issues need to be worked out.

i have Firefighter Command and like it. it lets you place the rigs and control each guy. you can also use diffretn tactics on the fire. maybe you want everyone in one building, maybe a few guys running around putting out brush fires, it is all up to you. hac the medic help the firefighters as they get hurt, use hydrant placement to plan tactics. there is a storyline to the game but is more for setting up the senario. it also puts you into urban, suburban, and rural locations, as well as hazmat. in one area your in city then your in the woods in the next.

In their little rock and roll video they look like they are all like 18. i now we are looking at it from what is on film but the slamming of doors adn pushing people? if you ran up on anyone and said your on the line they would move the truck in a heartbeat.

now in the home video two things happen. one the kentland guy is nuts and pushing the drievr and slamming doors. the other is if the truck was on a hose, wouldn't he have seen it when exiting the vehicle? i mean it is not snowing there so you can clearly see a hose on the ground when pulling in. as far as the inside stuff, i see pictures of guys burned wrists. and guys from diffrent departments saying these boys are cowboys and acting like a bunch of probies. i will agree that if the alligations are true, when guys i guess there is a nice warm jail cell waiting for you. i believe that would be assault, reckless endangerment, attempted murder (shutting air off knowing that they are inside a burnign structure), and actions unbecoming of an civil servent. i don;t think the last one is a real "law" , but if they did it then turn in your gear, your blue light (or red, not sure what they use) and uh don't ever come around here ever again. it is yahoos like this that make people think we are all bad. Throw out the rotten eggs

Anyone get to drive the Hutchitson River Ice Skating rink today? i was awsome, at 1pm no plowing yet donwn in Pelham. was like World Rally driving out there. tons-o-fun

i am just glad i got free passes to get in. did walk the whole thing rather quickly. seemed like there were alot of booths for like t-shirts and whatnot. nice rigs though. didn't really buy anyhting, no way i was paying the food prices. not a bad day

I live in pelham manor we did not have power for THREE DAYS. i mean the house next to be had juice, so you know that they could have just rigged it up to work.

i am taking the F.A.S.T. class up at the county and wanted to read a copy of a SOP for a team. i tried looking on google but it is a real cluster F on there. does anyone have a link to a departments SOP's that pertain to this section of firefighting?

i was in no way belittling anything they did on that plane, but you just don't know. i am sure there was a revolt and the passengers kicked some a** but really the whole incident took what, 45 min to go down. we will all have to get some more info on the movie then just the trailer. it just seems like it is cheapening their memories. i just feel all wierd about it.

OMFG are you kidding me!! they made a movie of that? Um about 4 years to late guys. it is not even relevent anymore, unless it is a way for the President to remind us why we had to goto war. i really don't know where i stand on this i mean ya it shows american doing what we do, kick evil doers butts, but isn't this a little touchy. i mean what about a movie about all the firemen and cops? No one nows way really happened in there anyway. I mean i know there was an all american football player, a judo champian and some other pissed off people but who really knows what happened. maybe the terrorist just freaked out and put her in the ground cause he chickened out like the cowards they were? I stand behind our troops and hope they all come home safely.
