  3. A Southern Westchester Department a few years ago: "Roger - where are you?" Reply - "I'm over here". Response - "Stay there - I'll be right over"
  4. I remember that night very well. I was the Shift Supervisor at the Indian Point Unit 3 nuclear plant. It was my last 4 to 12 shift, my first 12 to 8 shift and my first 8 to 4 shift. People couldn't get to the plant. The roads were a mess.
  5. I visit and prefer the home page which lists the recent topics and the recent incident alerts
  6. Ardsley FD had a 1978 Mack that jumped out of pump more than one time. My private vehicle got smashed by the Mack in 1980.

    In addition to being Chief in Ardsley in the early 1980's, I worked at Indian Point. I worked with Ed for about 12 years. My role in the event of an emergency at Indian Point was to respond to the State Emergency Operations Center (located in the sub-basement of the State Police building) and be the Technivcal Advisor to the State. In addition to being very competant, Ed was a true gentleman.
