I was wondering if anyone has the "A" and "B" tone for Yonkers FD when they transmit a 10-30?. It's different from the DTMF tones they use for station dispatches. Thanks.

It used to be 10-26 = Working Fire 10-36 = 2nd Alarm Not sure if they still use them.

Date:01/11/2009 Time: 2245hrs Location: 70 Lefferts rd Frequency: 484.7125, 46.50 Description Of Incident: Fire in the basement with extension to the 1st floor of a 2-story P/D. Writer: bfd669, Truck4 2248hrs- Original calls for smoke from the front door, L-74 on scene with smoke showing. 1st Alarm: E-304, 312, 307, 306, 303; L-74, 75; R-1, B-2* *5 Engines on initial alarm due to low hydrant pressure in the area. 2249hrs- E304 10-29, fire in the basement. 2256hrs- B-2 rpts fire in 2.5 story wood frame, fire in basement with extension to 1st floor and running the walls. All-Hands: E-309 2259hrs- Batt 2 transmitting 2nd alarm. 2nd Alarm: E-310, 313, L-71, B-1 2310hrs- Squad 11 relocating to Station 12 2320hrs- Batt 2 reports main body of fire K/D.

Just an FYI, the Radio Shack PRO-164 is not a digital(APCO25) capable scanner. Conn. state police is all digital like yonkers pd and greenburgh pd. Even with the scanner programmed correctly, you will not be able to listen to them. sorry. Here are a few scanners that Will work with APCO25 digital systems....
