Yes it does work and sounds everyday at 12 noon we stopped using the sirens years ago. If you are fimiliar with The Valley lanes there is a telephone pole in the corner of the parking lot with another one of our sirens ontop of it.

no positions are eleminated this way it is a better dispatch and both agencies mohegan fire and mohegan ems get the call at the same time there is no delay in any way. So far so good there are a few things that have to be fixed like anything new but in time everything will be ironed out. There were plenty of times when headquarters got dumped for other alarms and control didnt have any idea what apparatus was in service in what station and what was close to the fire now they know where everything is makes things easier for us and we dont have to worry about manning headquarters

They arent good rigs at all falling apart the cabinets dont close right the new of the wheeled coach's spent alot of time out of service not a very well constructed ambulance at all. The New one is great very sturdy and nice we will have more pics up on the website when it gets lettered and put into service

That mohegan ambulance was a demo to add the third ambulance to the fleet it was a 1988 Ford/Horton I know it went down to empress from time to time for maintance because empress has the medic contract for the town of yorktown and some how there was an offer to repair our rigs

Truck 4 you are correct two seperate incidents two consecutive years at playland where mutual aid was needed

There are 2 of these vehicles not one. The first one is assigned to SOD Division for the Bomb pod and the Second one is assigned to Pull the new driving simulator around

I Heard that Westchester County bought two rescue trucks from Syosset FD for the technical rescue team and that one of the two trucks one being a 10 man pierce Heavy Rescue is sitting at the training center now anyone have anymore info
