i must agree vinny i also work as a paid emt for hawthorne for empress.. i must say when i am there i feel they are my family just as my department at home god bless the familys and everyone else that responded

i have been at The BIG E for a while now and i have yet to transport to jacobi or wcmc for any BS job majority of the people goto St joes St johns Lawernce Or Mt vernon all dependS on were you are in the city or patient request.. i have only seen jobs goto wcmc and jacobi for major traumas that meet protocol to go ther soo i dont see what your fuss is all about here.... first off i have to start off by sayin sorry about the typing lol it was done from my blackberry studpid thing neways im not going to be on to knock but 25 truck is right it has alot to do with politics .... who knows well never know.. could it be that port chester has the choice that many departments dont you can ask for a tower or a straight stick.. who knows but what i do know that is evreryone in the sound shore area works great when the time comes to work together and thats all that matters....

whats the problem with port chester being first to mamaroneck, we have bein first due to mamaroneck with a ladder for i cant even rember how long its been a long tiime, its like the same with us we dont got rye they call mamk ladder in i dont see a problem its just the way it works out

well since i was reading this id figure i would comment on it.. on october 19th at aprox 5:30 pm i was riding an atv with my friends. in putnam valley/ kent area at this time i was going up a hill and my bike just stalled out on me and me and my bike went for a tumble ride down the hill backwards were the bike had landed on me and my friends had to lift it off.. i was there for about 45 mins before ems personal reached me with the atv and 6 wheelers.i was also a 1/4 mile into the woods .i was a/ox3 with -loc ihad pain in my left knee, my pelvis, and my midline back, well as the medic aproched me i heard him yell for the helicopter b4 he even found what my injuries were now me being an emt i fel the need that i did not need a helicopter cause my vital were stable and i had full motory but he made me aware of becuause of my MOI i had to be flown.. soo i was flown to the wcmc told i had crack on my pelvis fluid in my knee and a compression fracture of my L2 disc onto a nerve and i was discharged 2:00 am.. now my ? to you is even if i deny it can they still fly the helicopter due to my MOI.. thanks charlie also want to say thank you to the putnam valley fire dept and ems / medic and the crew on the medivac thhat day evry1 did a great job and my utmost respect goes out to them.. the accident and pics are on there wbesite putnamvalleyfire.com
