It has been beaten to death and I wonder how many other news agencies are going to be contacted if he is such a dedicated member of the squad he showed his true age by when he got busted by the rules instead of takin it like a man doing his time and then coming back to try and make the proper changes to the rules he quit !!!!!! I feel that with the development of new gear and hoods is that not feeling the heat we are going in farther than is safe due to the total encapsulation of the ppe I agree that you need to read the fire to monitior ever changing conditions to adapt and adjust to keep safe especially with the new types of construction materials that are being used ,but when its too hot for the ears its time to leave

In this case, the patient was intubated and had a nasty fractured leg. Don't know if they just checked out the helicopter and continued or transferred the pt. upon landing. Made my heart skip a beat when the county called to advise us of the incident. Other than some unexpected manuevers by the pilot, I didn't see anything occur when they left the LZ.
