  1. UCT dispatch is a bunch of bull as it currently exists. On the fire side when we are originally dispatched by the UCT dispatcher, we are now given about 15-30 letters to remember that signify the type of incident we will be responding too. B/c writting FIRE M/D is too time consuming. Now not to cause problems with my friends on the blue team. But UCT dispatchers should just be called PO's since they are supervised by PD brass and directed to delay calls. Proven by listening to radios and by those that work there.
  2. Very nice......good luck
  3. For the thicker kids getting stuck in the infant swings use a plumbers pipe cutting cable. It easly fits in between the child's leg and the swing. Since the cable is not abrasive it does not hurt the child or create loud noises that may spoke them. This item can be found at any hardware store
  4. Does anyone's department that inspects dry/drafting Hydrants have an inspection checklist?
  5. I don't recall ever seeing anything posted about this at the fire house. Was it for one dept or open to others
  6. No light package
  7. I had actually attended the event with my children and had an excellent time! My kids were able to ride in Carmel's bucket and operate Brewster's hose line. They got to go in Brewster's safety house and look at the Sheriff's ERT vehicles and had photos taken for "Operation Safe Child". The members of Patterson and Putnam Lake conducted a extracation demo that entertained all that watched. Inside the building, representatives from different health and wellness groups were on hand assisting those with questions. The kids were once again entertained by the magician and face painting station. Once outside again, we were able to see the assets the county government can role out to emergencies. On display were vehicles from the haz-mat, fire police and OEM teams. And of course the event would not be complete for the kids with out a jumpy house! For those of us that were there, it was obvious all had a good time! Thanks for a great time! Oh one more thing we should get a dunk booth for next year so that "velcro_ _dic1987" can have a better view of the event when commenting
