Doesn't Greenville ladder 4 provide mutual aid as well?

I dont know about you guys but id like the sound, comfort, and reliability of a 5.7L HEMI V 8 monster under my hood. Not to mention the decent Fuel economy 15 MPG city, 23 MPG highway.

This is so ridiculous, why do polticians go after what a city really needs the most (protection). I have a phenominal idea instead of lay offs how about time reduction???? A new Fire house and Police station needs to be built within Ridge Hill, not in the surrounding area.

Its been long overdue for a new station..is there only one station GPD uses? instead of creating one big station, why not build smaller stations dispersed around the area? Im sure it would be more cost effective..

Prior to the Ridge Hill development, what YFD companies were assigned to cover that area? What companies are currently assigned to cover the houses behind ridgehill..? I am assuming mutual aid, to Yonkers, plans would have to change.

Laziness im assuming is the reason why the problem hasnt been pushed yet. I mean the problem is defined, its serious enough to make a valid case. the money is alway available for situations like this, you just need crate a proper grant.

I say emtbravo is a perfect way to start with a process to get this system rolling..a big chunk of (important names) first responders are on this site..a proposal, inlcuding a grant, needs to be created with the problems outlined, signed by the masses, and sent to lawmakers up in albany for a signature.

You are very true..the problem needs to be resolved with public administrators first then create the plans within the EMS community then you need to figure out how everything will be paid for...grants..proposals?

They were. The biggest problem is an almost total lack of participation in EMS planning and MCI training. I have said this many times, 99% of the providers & leaders have never participated in either. So its the training between the various agencies that increase the effectivenes of interoperability not soo much communications. In this case its the particitipation between the agencies involved. What would be a way to increase participation? Make it a mandatroy trainingy regiment?

I feel interoperability interms of communications needs to be updated.. Effective communications is the key to successful operations

I remember hearing something about being donated to Albania but thats just rumors.

Its just sad to see a perfectly usable engine sitting in a construction yard,of all places ,rotting away. It can be donated to a department that can put it to good use.
