Well - after searching every fire apparatus web site i could, my search tuned up negative - I found a Sutphen 75' TL with a single rear axle, which was interesting, but every 100' stick or platform that I saw had a double rear axle. Check the thread on Web Sites Worth Visiting for links to all the fire apparatus manufactuer web sites that I found.

That's a good question. I don't think I've ever seen one. I'm sure that if there aren't any, it would be because of weight restrictions for single axle vehicles. I'm going to search a few websites to see what I can find

http://www.crimson-fire.com/crimson/produc...cts/aerials.asp(Aerial Page) http://www.crimson-fire.com/crimson/default.asp(Main Page) Interesting look - can imagine it would take some getting used to. But, after looking into the Star series chassis design, and the "Signature Features" I was pretty impressed. These guys ould possibly become the next big thing.

That's quite interesting, a tower to replace an engine. I'm not too familiar with what rigs are in what houses in T-town. Any idea where in the district it will be housed in relation to the other ladder?

=D> =D> =D> =D> =D> FINALLY!!! Someone realizes that there are enough buckets around to cover all of Westchester County. Kudos to you guys!

Do you think I carry a 5 D-cell MagLite for the candlepower? Two words - "Tuning Stick"

**I'm am not stating that any of this is fact** But - judging by timing, If WCPD hired and dispatchers, they were probably off the old list. I don't even know if the typing exam has been given for the latest test yet. And after that is done, it's still quite a while before the list comes out. My guess is another 2-3 years for a "Communicatios Operator Trainee"

Not from where I'm sitting!! GO YANKEES :peace:

Well, when you put it all together - Arson, Murder, Attempted Murder (Probably at least 3rd degree on one of the charges) She should be going away for a long time.
-
Very nice rig - I like how its not a MONSTROSITY like everyone else is getting.

Now this is an effective way of advertising! (But it still wouldn't make dental trips any more pleasant for me) http://www.fdnytrucks.com/files/html/other...ntralDental.htm

squadco - the only problem with that is the PD's still have to transfer the 911 calls!
-
It may not be the most realistic show, but.... Backdraft and Ladder 49 aren't too realistic either, but they are still great movies! Show biz has to throw in a few little extras, or even remove a few aspects to make the show interesting.
-
I'm not even going to comment on this one. I think everyone knows how i feel!!!!!!
-
I know it's used for advertising - just look at it. But from the box on the back, i gather that it could function as a mobile dentists office.
