Sure - why not!! In my humble opinion, as long as it's done right, EMD can be a very valuable tool. Especially when used to its full extent. Using the cards allows the dispatcher/calltaker to take control of the call right away, and as long as the dispatcher remains calm, the caller really can't go off on tangent. IT JUST HAS TO BE DONE RIGHT!!!

How about those of us that have to drive home from work at 2300hrs, when none of the roads have been plowed, and we want to make it home to that special someone?
