Most PD's (possibly some FD's) will handle (or attempt) if the car is running, or if there is a child locked in the car.
-
Actually, I was hoping you could be my "Boy Wonder." If not, Plectron will have to do.

As far as watching it on TV, it's cool, but I don't think it should be on ESPN. Online, it is great. My favorite is www.888.com

As of 4/30 - the new 30A1 and 30A2 are in service. They are white with red striping. A major improvment from the older Soundshore vans. Picts were sent in, hopefully they will be up soon.

Despite dictonary definitions, I have to agree with the PB&J with the crust removed. Either that or a Grilled Cheese sandwich!

XM is the best $12 a month I spend (with the exception of the weekly lunch or dinner at Dino's in Thornwood) There are so many stations to listen to. A channel listing is available at http://www.xmradio.com/programming/full_ch...jsp?sort=number The XM homepage is www.xmradio.com

If we're talking about the same rig...(The old airport foam unit) It is still sitting up at the training center, green and un-lettered.

Works for me! - excpet for the fact about it being my fault. It has been confirmed that it is Dennis' fault. I do not blame you anymore.
-
wow - that is a little too much info! Was it a member of your fd, or the guy sitting next to you when you posted that? :-k

Don't forget Trailblazer 3!

Remember Plectron, it IS your fault

In some cases, yes, but, in many areas, 4x4's are a must due to road/driveway conditions. Good luck getting up some of the driveways in Pund Ridge, Bedford, etc. in 4 inches of snow with a crown vic. I don't care how many cinder blocks are in the trunk, it ain't happening!! Also - carrying equiptment and manpower is a reason for the larger SUVs being used as a chiefs car. I'm not saying everyone should have a Hummer H2, or they should have lightbars where the 10-digit model # is the amount of individual LED bulbs found in the bar, but in some areas, the SUV's make life a lot easier.

DUBcity makes a "pimped out" Fire Dept Hummer in 1:64th scale. It is pretty damn cool looking too.

I'm with you on that one, Seth

Sounds like a great idea, and I'd love to have it. The only problem I forsee...$$$ Especially since the county is spending so much money on the new trunked radio system
-
No - I've been hearing this as well, and it is quite annoying. Almost as bad as hearing those taxi drivers from the weeks past.

Maybe Kevin Brown needs to punch another wall
