Yeah - I found myself leaving it in the firehouse more and more during the winter months. Putting on turnout gear that's been sitting inside a 20 degree car for 8 hours is one way to get an unwelcome wakeup call! Oh yeah - and for the comments about running... :pissed: lol

Many of our members (myslef included) carry our gear in our car. We don't have requirements to leave it at the firehouse or not, so it's all personal preferance. Our department policy is to wait for a minimal crew of 2 interior firefighters and an MPO before responding, but I think my company are the only ones that wait 100% of the time unless otherwise orderd. I like to keep mine with me, because if I go to the firehouse, it only takes an extra 3 seconds to run to the back of the car and grab it.

There's one in Ossining in the Arcadian Shopping Center - not sure of the name. All I do remember is they had the best General Tso's I ever had. They are the only ones that truly deserve to put that little chili pepper next to the listing in the menu. Every other place has it, but the only way to get a spicy bite is to eat the chili pepper that comes with it. Oh yeah - and they use lots of garlic in thier dishes too.

Actually - Cappricos I is at the bottom of Maple St. (Rte 129) Accross from Dom's Citgo Sta. It is in the same plaza as the Croton Mini Deli, a chineese food restaurant, a dry cleaners, and a few other businesses that change so often I can never keep track. The other one you are reffering to on Grand St, is Number 1 Pizza. They are also pretty good.

Regardless of unions, the correct interpritation of the NYS V&T law is as simple as this.
